Subject: Problems due to a broken S/H on SM1

Ciao a tutti,
starting during run 18398(10-10-99) and until run 18417(10-13-99),
the ERP Sample and Hold module for channels 1W01/02/03/04 broke.
For this reason we had VERY BAD muons calibration values on entire SM1
(take a look at disk$scrausa4:[macrocal.scratch]run18380_bad.ps).
I tried to improve data by excluding runs in close proximity of
run 18398....The only way to obtain reasonable good data is excluding
ALL runs after 18397 but, in this manner, we use 14 runs only for ERP
weekly muons calibration(!).
This module (fixed last wednesday) had a broken 1uF cap on the +12V
line (and the corresponding fuse blown)...so, maybe, the entire
power line was compromised by it.
Anyway, I decided to update CALMOD 'work' area using those 14
runs only. Please, let me know if you find unusual problems in
your analysis during this week.
